Odin’s Glow
Magnetic Events have been commissioned to turn a mountain into an artwork.
Redcar and Cleveland Council with partners VisitTeesside will work with Magnetic to turn the historic landscape of the North Yorkshire Dales into a large scale artwork, to be seen by many thousands in October 2009. More details will be released in the New Year.
Enchanted Parks, December 2008
Using the award wining Saltwell Park, Gateshead, Magnetic have commissioned both UK and international artists to create a series of works using many different art forms to produce a Winter Festival art trail. As part of Enchanted Parks there will also be a unique installation by renowned artist and musician Yoko Ono entitled ‘Wish Tree for Gateshead’ and presented in partnership with Baltic Centre for Contemporary Arts.
